Events to remember
The church holds special events from time to time and here is a menu so that
we may remember the history we create as a church working
in the community.
Watton Church Scout Group invest new cubs and beavers. An evening to remember.
Women For The Kingdom Refreshment Day. There was great food both natural and spiritual, mystery guests and power worship.
Egghunt Service 2013 The Egg Hunt Service has become an annual event that never ceases to bring a smile, while the gospel was explained by the puppet team.
Watton Church Scout Group work with Watton I. T. Club to find maps online.
Mother's Day Service a great time of remembering all that our mums do for us

Family Carol Service 2012. Fantastic!! It all started with tea and toast.
Watton Church Scout Group enjoy a great time with visits from the Police and Mike Dixon our District Commissioner. Four new beavers were invested.
Watton Pentecostal Church Shoe Box Appeal Service was a great success. Not only did everyone enjoy themselves but 113 shoe boxes were collected for the appeal.
Watton Church Light Party A light party that proclaimed that Jesus Christ is the light of the world.
Diabetes UK President visits local group. The Diabetes UK Watton and District (Thetford) Voluntary Group received a visit from Richard Lane, the President of Diabetes UK.

Family Fun Day. The family fun day was at Crossways Christian Centre in 2012. What a great day, good fellowship, glorious weather and a great God. What more could you ask for?
Beavers Flag The Watton Church Scout Group Beavers Section was presented with a flag by Pastor Fredrick Anthuraj, the director of Aid-2-India a charity which serves people from all communities, beliefs and backgrounds. The flag was made by people in India served by the charity for the Scout Group. How wonderful.
The Next Steps Service. As children take the big step of going to school, we commemorate the fact with the presentation of a certificate and a bible.
Men's Day. Food, Fun and Ten pin Bowling. The worship was fantastic and the preaching encouraged men to respond to the anointing of God.
A visit to Great Yarmouth. It is a joy to see the church growing

The Mayor's Inaugural Service. The New Mayor Councillor Paul Cooper dedicated himself to serve the people of the town before God.
Watton Town Carnival 2012. The open-air service and the Watton Church Scout Group. A full but happy day of celebration.
Diamond Jubilee Street Party. What a great day of celebrating the Queen's Diamond Jubilee in Watton. There were so many activities and competitions, and so many people to thank for making the day a success
Sending the team to Zambia. During the Sunday Morning Service the team of Ken, Pat, Bob and Martina
Beavers Spy Camp sleep over, a weekend full of fun the finished with a BBQ
Beavers make animals. The beavers had an exciting day making animals, someone made a fantastic Tiger from old boxes.
Egg Hunt Service. What a really lovely service, a full church hot cross buns and Easter eggs, plus the real reason to be in church explained.
Passover Explained. Phil Webb explained the Jewish passover meal from a Christian perspective. People tried the different foods with varying degrees of delight!
Beavers Outdoor event. The beavers had a great time making and cooking Kebabs
Women's World Day of Prayer.
The churches of Watton came together in a service written by the women of Malaysia.
Big Day for Watton Church Scout Group. The Beavers section had a visit from the South West Norfolk District Commissioner and the South West Norfolk District Beavers Commissioner. They invest 5 new leaders to the group and 8 new Beaver scouts. A really wonderful day.
Beavers brave the snow. a warm welcome was given to all the beavers who braved the snow to get to the fourth meeting of the group.
February Snow. Dama Safari visited the church to share his vision with the church leadership and to speak in the church.
New Years Day Service and Party. Remembering the purpose of the church as God restores and renews his work in Watton.
Carols by Candlelight. The worship team from Watton Pentecostal Church organised an evening of carols, poems and prayers centred on the message of Christmas.
Friendship Club Christmas Dinner. A great time together celebrating Christmas
Noah's Ark Christmas Party. The children celebrated Christmas big time with a special guest Father Christmas.
The Family Carol Service. Absolutely Fantastic. The carol service had everything a presentation from Diabetes UK Support Group and from Norfolk Scouting Association. The Children were great and it snowed at Watton Church thanks to a snow machine.
Noah's Ark Groups Sponsored Toddle. A Big Thank you to all who took part on October 13th and so far they have raised £317.40.
Shoe Box Celebration. As the embers were still dying from this year’s bonfires, Watton Pentecostal Church turned their thoughts to Christmas. November 2011
Harvest Festival. The church held a Harvest Festival in aid of The Salvation Army Pottergate ARC Social Service Centre. October 2011

2011. The Fun Day started with rain which was not in the
plan with so many outdoor events. However what a change after
the church service.
The Watton Town Carnival 2011 The Carnival began with a Christian Service in the High Street and the Mayor formally opened the days events. The Church was open serving tea and coffee for the day.
The Royal Wedding William and Kate marry 29th April 2011, The celebration in the church for those who could not travel to London for this wonderful occasion. |
